Latin American Heritage

Through October, Ori’Zaba’s is celebrating the roots of Latin heritage and cuisine by bringing our guests three new menu items, available for a limited time.

Take a trip with us, without getting on an airplane! We will escape to Argentina, Chile and Cuba, through traditional Latin dishes bursting with flavors and spices that will make you feel as if you are dining with your Abuela, cozied up around the family dinner table. Ven y disfruta!

Provoleta

In Argentina, provoleta is made with a provolone type cheese that is traditionally cooked over hot coals until golden and bubbling, then served as a mouthwatering appetizer.

We have taken this amazing dish one step further; we drizzle chimichurri sauce made from parsley, oregano, garlic, oil and red wine vinegar, over the top of the golden cheese.

This appetizer will transport you to colorful Argentina and goes well as a starter with any of our meals. Or, eat it alone as a decadent treat!

Boniato con Mojo

Cubans love to drizzle this “Mojo” sauce on a variety of dishes, but it really shines when used with sweet potatoes. Ori’Zaba’s Mojo is made with:

  • Fresh garlic
  • Parsley
  • Tangy lime juice
  • Housemade arbol chili powder
  • Cumin
  • Orange Juice and Agave

We drizzle this Mojo over our deep fried sweet potatoes and serve this dish as a side which pairs well with any main dish. You will fall in love with the sweet and spicy flavor of this traditional Cuban dish after just one bite!

Pebre Salsa Picante

Tastebuds be warned, this salsa packs a kick, we advise extreme caution when diving into this creation that hails from Chile. We have blended four peppers:

  • Serrano
  • Habanero
  • Ghost Peppers
  • Arbol

And then added tomatoes, cilantro, green onions, garlic, red wine vinegar and chili paste to create a salsa so spicy, we advise to “Eat at Your Own Risk!”

If you love spicy, you will enjoy this salsa on burritos, bowls and even with a side of chips. Having a tall glass of ice cold Agua Fresca close at hand, may be a good idea!

We invite you to celebrate the cuisine and culture of Latin America with us. Try one of our new dishes and savor the amazing flavor combinations that originate from the colorful and diverse countries of Chile, Argentina, and Cuba.

At Ori’Zaba’s we delight in creating amazing scratch made Mexican and Latin foods for our customers!

A Tu Salud!
