Cinco de Mayo This Weekend – Great Specials. Good Friends. Mucho Fun.

This is your lucky year!

The 5th of May falls on a SATURDAY, which means MUCHO MORE FUN.

Come Celebrate Cinco de Mucho with us!

Cinco de Mayo at Ori’Zaba’s has always been a day of celebration; to gather with friends and family and appreciate the many wonderful things about Mexican culture and food.  This year it’s no different!

Here are just a few of the great things you’ll find a Ori’Zaba’s this Cinco de Mayo Saturday:

1) $15 all day Saturday buys you ALL YOU CAN EAT CINCOTACOS and a bucket of beer!  Don’t drink?  $8 all you can eat Cinco Tacos*
Cinco Taco’s are specially-made tacos just for Cinco de Mayo – with a flour tortilla, lime squeezed white rice, grilled Zabadobo chicken, Ori’Blend cheese and hand shredded lettuce.   YUM!

2) The ZabaRita is BACK!  You asked for it – you got it. And what better day to bring it back than Cinco de Mayo?   We’ve been taste-testing made-from-scratch options – get ready to be blown away!

3) All the same great Ori’Zaba’s food, plus our friendly Ori’Zaba’s staff, ready to celebrate Cinco de Mayo with you!

Be sure to tag us on social media and post lots of pictures – let us know how many tacos you ate!

So what’s the big deal about the 5th of May for Mexican culture?  Many are mistaken in thinking it’s Mexico’s Independence Day (nope, that national holiday actually falls on September 16th). BUT it IS a celebration of a hard fought battle victory over the French Empire at the Battle of Puebla on May 5th, 1862.   The day honors the Mexican Army’s leadership, and many military parades commemorate the day.

In America, Cinco de Mayo is proudly celebrated with food and festivities honoring these same Mexican ancestors.

*Cinco Tacos are all you can eat during one visit, no substitutions, alterations or removal of ingredients. Served 4 at a time, and cannot be shared.  Once you finish your four Cinco Tacos you are welcome to get back in line and present you wrist band for more. Salsa and other toppings may be purchased for you to add to your tacos.  Buckets of beer are not replenishable and are limited to one per purchase and only with ID proof of over 21

When Cinco de Mayo just isn’t enough, get over to Ori’Zaba’s and celebrate Cinco de MUCHO.
